Kids' Fishing and Shooting Day

Come join TASC for a day all about kids!

Join us for the FREE Kids' Fishing Derby and Shooting Day! This is a great opportunity to get out and spend the day as a family and enjoy the sunshine. Children can fish and shoot archery, skeet and/or trap! 

Kids’ Fishing Derby

Time: 8am to 12pm
Location: Claypit Lakes

Get your little fishers, ages 3 to 15 years old, to the Kids' Fishing Derby! 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes, in 4 age groups, will be given for highest weight of fish caught. Children need to bring their own fishing pole. Limit of one pole per child. Bait will be provided. Registration begins at 7am the morning of the event.

BREAK TIME: Lunch will be provided from 12 - 1pm at Claypit Lakes. Free hot dogs and sodas will be available to each participant.

Kids’ Shooting Day

Time: 1:30pm to 4:30pm
Location: Range 14

After a morning of fishing, join us at Range 14 for a kids’ shooting event. Kids are invited for an instructional and recreational shooting event. An adult must accompany the child while on the range. Instruction for Archery, Trap and Known Distance Shooting will be offered.
